Terms of Service

King of the Internet is a novelty entertainment website. Paying places your submitted photo, message and link on the public "throne" until someone else pays more. The service is provided "as is", for fun, with no guarantee of availability, reign duration or results.

User responsibility & disclaimer

You are solely responsible for everything you submit — your name, photo, message and link. By submitting, you confirm that you own the rights to the content (or have permission to use it), that it does not infringe anyone's rights, and that it is not illegal, hateful, sexual, threatening, defamatory or misleading.

We accept no liability for user submissions, for how other visitors use, copy, share or react to them, or for any loss, damage, claim or dispute arising from content posted by users. We do not pre-screen content. If you believe content violates these terms or the law, use the "Report" link on the throne and we will review it.

We may remove or hide content, refuse submissions, and block users at our sole discretion and without refund.

Refunds

Purchases are final and non-refundable, because the service (public display) is delivered instantly. The one exception: if someone claims the throne a split second before you and the price changes, your payment is refunded automatically and in full.

Privacy

We store the name, message, link, photo and country you submit (these are public) and your email (private — used only to notify you when you are dethroned and for payment receipts). Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. Email us to request deletion of your data.
